Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FDN

The First Trust Dow Jones Internet Index Fund ETF ( FDN ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 3.6 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 586,000. Shares of FDN were up about 0.4% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Facebook ( FB ), trading down about 0.2% with over 12.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Twitter ( TWTR ), up about 1% on volume of over 10.4 million shares. Truecar ( TRUE ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 7.5% on the day, while Demandware ( DWRE ) is lagging other components of the First Trust Dow Jones Internet Index Fund ETF, trading lower by about 12.8%.
