In trading on Tuesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF ( XOP ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of California Resources ( CRC ), up about 9.6% and shares of SM Energy ( SM ), up about 8.8% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Vanguard Utilities ETF ( VPU ), down about 1.4% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Terraform Global ( GLBL ), lower by about 4.9%, and shares of California Water Service Group (CWT), lower by about 2.9% on the day.
