In trading on Tuesday, the iShares PHLX Semiconductor ETF ( SOXX ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of MKS Instruments ( MKSI ), up about 3.1% and shares of Applied Materials ( AMAT ), up about 2.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares U.S. Healthcare Providers ETF ( IHF ), down about 4.2% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of Hca Healthcare ( HCA ), lower by about 8.4%, and shares of Amedisys (AMED), lower by about 7.8% on the day.
