In trading on Tuesday, the iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF ( ITB ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of M.D.C. Holdings ( MDC ), up about 5.7% and shares of Hovnanian Enterprises ( HOV ), up about 5.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares MSCI China ETF ( MCHI ), down about 1.1% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Tuesday were shares of New Oriental Education & Technology Group ( EDU ), lower by about 3.8%, and shares of JD.com (JD), lower by about 2.9% on the day.
