In trading on Tuesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 5.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Pacific Drilling ( PACD ), off about 22.3% and shares of Legacy Reserves ( LGCY ) off about 18% on the day.
Also lagging the market Tuesday are non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares, down on the day by about 5% as a group, led down by Olympic Steel ( ZEUS ), trading lower by about 13.4% and Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold ( FCX ), trading lower by about 9.6%.
