Tuesday 4/1 Insider Buying Report: AHP

As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at one noteworthy recent insider buy.

On Friday, Ashford Hospitality Prime ( AHP )'s Chief Executive Officer, Montgomery J. Bennett, made a $498,800 purchase of AHP, buying 33,499 shares at a cost of $14.89 a piece. So far Bennett is in the green, up about 5.3% on their buy based on today's trading high of $15.68. Ashford Hospitality Prime is trading up about 2.8% on the day Tuesday. This purchase marks the first one filed by Bennett in the past year.
