TSX Flat at 10 am, But Miners, Energy Post Biggest Gains -- Miners up 6%

The TSX is barely higher at 10 am, just up 7 point but miners are up 6.3%, while energy has gained 1.7%. Commodities prices are all higher.

BlackBerry (BB.TO) reported a smaller Q3 loss on Friday and its first QoQr revenue gain in over two years. Blackberry reported a loss of $89 million, or 17 cents a share

Canada's annual inflation rate rose in November to 1.4%. Core inflation dipped to 2%. Food costs rose 3.4% in November from a year earlier, with higher prices for fresh vegetables and meat contributing the most to the gain. A Shelter costs rose 1.2%.

Inflationary gains were offset by lower gasoline prices.
