The TSX is up just 2 points this morning with healthcare/cannabis stocks (-2.76%) and miners (-0.54%) the biggest decliners.
Prometic Life sciences (PLI.TO), whose shares have dived from $0.295 on April 1, is now trading 42% lower, at $0.09. PLI is the most actively traded on the TSX, with close to 12 million shares changing hands. The company announced a series of refinancing initiatives this morning.
Commodities are also in the red today, with gold slipping under US$1,300 to US$1,238.30. Crude oil is also in the red, shedding 0.81% to US$63.37.
Energy (+0.39%) and financials (+0.17%) offset losses.
