TSX Down 75 Points With ALL Sectors Negative -- Miners, Energy, Lead Slump as Brexit Weighs

The TSX is down 73 points this morning with all sectors in the red. Miners and energy are the biggest losers, shedding 2.94% and 1.65% respectively.

Crude oil is down 2.33% to US$46.89 this morning.

Canadian growth is likely to be flat or slightly negative in the second quarter due to the impact of the Alberta wildfires before recovery takes hold in the third quarter, Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz said on Wednesday. He said that on the whole, the economy was making progress as it adjusted to low oil prices .

UK voters will decide next Thursday whether to stay in or pull out of the EU.
