TSX Down 20 Points With Telecom, Industrials, Leading Losses

The TSX is down 20 points this morning on mixed sectors. Telecom and industrials are the biggest decliners so far, down 1.0% and 0.54% respectively.

The mining sector, which registered heavy losses earlier this week, is in the green today, up 0.19%, on higher precious metals prices.

Canadian exports hit a record high in June, cutting the country's trade deficit to $626 million, the lowest in 17 months, Statistics Canada data indicated on Friday. Exports jumped by 4.1% from May to $50.70 billion on higher shipments of energy products and aircraft.
