TSX 90 Points Higher on Strong Industrials, Energy; Healthcare Down

The TSX is up 90 points today on mixed sectors. Industrials are the biggest gainer this morning, up 1.8%, followed by energy, up 1.31%.

Oil is up nearly 3% this morning.

Healthcare is the biggest decliner, shedding 0.82%.

The U.S. economy expanded more than previously estimated in Q2 on stronger consumer spending and construction. GDP rose at a 3.9% annual pace in the April-June quarter, up from the 3.7% pace reported last month.

Fed Chair Janet Yellen kept the door open to an increase this year in a speech on Thursday night, as long as inflation remains stable and growth is strong enough to boost employment.
