TSX up 31 Points as Energy Turns Positive

The TSX is up 31 points mid morning on mixed sectors.

The biggest gainers are utilities (+0.53%) and info tech (+0.42%). Energy is up 0.41% so far.

Oil is in the red and Action Economics said while reports have circulated that all OPEC members are on board with extending current production cuts through 2018, there has been no confirmation from Russia so far, as to whether it will agree.

Meanwhile, producer prices in Canada increased by 1% in October from September, Statistics Canada said on Tuesday.

Healthcare is the biggest decliner, shedding 1.12%.
