TSX Up 138 Points With All Sectors Positive -- Energy, Info Tech The Biggest Gainers

The TSX is up 138 points this morning with all sectors in the green. Energy is the biggest gainer, up 1.56%, followed by info tech, which has gained 1.08%.
Crude oil has gained 2.37% to US$52.59.
Canada's annual inflation rate rose less than expected in December. The annual inflation rate rose to 1.5%, Statistics Canada said on Friday, short of expectations for 1.7%, Reuters reported. Canadian retail sales edged up 0.2% in November as consumers bought new cars and spent more at home renovation stores, though Black Friday sales were mixed, data from Statistics Canada showed on Friday.
