The TSX is up 10 points this morning with most sectors in the green. The heavyweight energy sector is up 0.41%, followed by info tech, which has gained 0.40%.
Telecom and healthcare are the sole negatives, shedding 0.39% and 0.31% respectively.
Metals are up today, but crude oil has slipped -- the International Energy Agency said in its monthly report that global oil production rose by 170,000 barrels per day in November despite supply restrictions from the world's largest exporters. The IEA also raised it forecast for U.S. 2018 supply growth to 870,000 barrels per day from 790,000 bpd.
