TransCanada Corp Slightly Higher Despite Delay in Keystone Restart

TransCanada Corp. (TRP.TO) is slightly higher Thursday morning despite reportedly saying the flow of crude oil through the Keystone pipeline may not resume until next week.

"We do not have any firm timeline as to when re-start will occur," said TransCanada spokesman James Millar in a statement issued late Wednesday. "The next few days may mean next week, we do not know at this point."

Since a leak at a northeast Kansas pumping station shut the 591,000 barrel per day (bpd) pipeline on Sunday, TransCanada has said the pipeline was expected to resume operation within a few days, Reuters notted.
