Affymax (AFFY): Option volume 802 percent above average. A block of 3,000 September 4 calls was sold for $0.40. AFFY fell 0.99 percent to $4.
Sunrise Senior Living (SRZ): Option volume 778 percent above average. About 1,400 October 5 puts were bought, mostly for $0.55 to $0.65. SRZ rose 4.75 percent to $6.40.
CurrencyShares Swiss Franc Fund (FXF): Option volume 579 percent above average. Activity surged in the August 126 puts and the September 126 puts. FXF fell 4.43 percent to $130.02.
Brinker International (EAT): Option volume 509 percent above average. More than 2,000 August 25 calls were purchased against existing open interest. EAT rose 12 percent to $22.95.
SodaStream International (SODA): Option volume 419 percent above average. About 2,700 October 80 calls were sold against existing open interest. SODA fell 37 percent to $43.55.
