Talisman Energy (TLM): Option volume 1,608 percent above average. There was heavy buying in the October 19 calls, the January 25 calls and the October 24 calls. TLM fell 1.86 percent to $16.86.
Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR): Option volume 1,383 percent above average. Investors sold about 5,800 September 16 puts, taking profits as the shares decline. IBKR fell 4.76 percent to $14.02.
Quiksilver (ZQK): Option volume 935 percent above average. An investor sold 5,000 September 4 puts for $0.10, looking for the shares to hold their ground. ZQK fell 3.22 percent to $4.51.
Fusion-io (FIO): Option volume 781 percent above average. There is buying in the August 30 calls and selling in the December 40 calls. FIO rose 3.34 percent to $24.41.
Dolby Laboratories (DLB): Option volume 747 percent above average. About 1,800 August 40 puts were sold for $8.80 to $8.90 as investors took profits on today's selloff. DLB cratered 18 percent to $30.79.
