Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of United Therapeutics ( UTHR ), up about 6% and shares of Ligand Pharmaceuticals ( LGND ), up about 4% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF ( XME ), down about 2.4% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Century Aluminum ( CENX ), lower by about 9.3%, and shares of Cleveland-cliffs (CLF), lower by about 4.7% on the day.
