In trading on Thursday, oil & gas refining & marketing shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Alon USA Partners ( ALDW ), off about 20.5% and shares of Green Plains ( GPRE ) down about 13.5% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are oil & gas exploration & production shares, down on the day by about 4.4% as a group, led down by California Resources Corporation ( CRC ), trading lower by about 28.9% and Ultra Petroleum Corporation ( UPL ), trading lower by about 19.1%.
