In trading on Thursday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Gerdau ( GGB ), down about 12.6% and shares of Companhia Siderurgica Nacional ( SID ) off about 9.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are medical instruments & supplies shares, down on the day by about 1.6% as a group, led down by Natus Medical ( BABY ), trading lower by about 6% and Staar Surgical ( STAA ), trading lower by about 6%.
