Thursday Sector Laggards: Apparel Stores, Non-Precious Metals & Non-Metallic Mining Stocks

In trading on Thursday, apparel stores shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.6%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Gordmans Stores ( GMAN ), off about 10.6% and shares of Guess ( GES ) off about 8.8% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares, down on the day by about 1.4% as a group, led down by Companhia Siderurgica Nacional ( SID ), trading lower by about 5.8% and Cliffs Natural Resources ( CLF ), trading lower by about 5.6%.
