Technology stocks were little changed just before Tuesday's closing bell, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 increasing less than 0.1%.
In company news, Stratasys ( SSYS ) shares were higher in late Tuesday trading, hanging on to most of a 4% climb to a session high of $21.75 a share, after the 3-D printer company today said Spanish aerospace and engineering company, Indaero, recently secured new business with several tier 1 and tier 2 Airbus suppliers after using Stratasys' FDM printer to produce several specialized tools.
The 3D printer has been a game-changer for us," Indaero CEO Dario Gonzalez Fernandez said. "The ability to 3D print curved production tools in robust materials made us realize the importance of having tools that perfectly fit the panels. Not only does it make the work of our operators much easier, it frees up resources and increases our overall productivity.
