Technology stocks were moderately lower in afternoon trading, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 slipping just over 0.5%.

In company news, Neonode Inc ( NEON ) advanced again on Monday after the optical and touch technologies company today said its AirBar sensor is now available through BestBuy.com ( BBY ).

AirBar adds touch functions to the display monitor of any personal computer using the Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating systems along with most Chrome operating systems. The device emits an invisible light field from under a computer monitor and the computer interprets any interruption to the light field as interactive input.

AirBar retails for $69 and previously has been available online at WalMart.com ( WMT ) and Amazon.com ( AMZN ) as well as at Walmart brick-and-mortar stores.

NEON shares were up over 9% at $1.97 each, staying within two cents of their session high.
