Technology stocks continued to extend their rebound into the new week on Monday, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 jumping out to a 0.9% gain this afternoon.
In company news, Xilinx ( XLNX ) shares advanced Monday, rising almost 3% in late trade, after analysts at Jefferies today raised their investment rating for the specialty chipmaker to Buy from Hold.
In other sector news,
(+) UCTT, Stifel increases price target by $2 to $20 a share. Also reiterates Hold rating.
(-) NXTD, Prices $3.42 mln private placement with existing institutional investors of about 2.4 mln shares and pre-funded warrants at $1.43 apiece, a % discount to Friday's closing price. Offering also includes around 1.8 mln 54-month warrants exercisable at $2 apiece.
