In technology stocks news, Akamai Technologies ( AKAM ) reported Q4 revenue of $579.2 million, better than the analyst consensus of $569 million on Capital IQ. Earnings were $0.72 per share, ahead of expectations of $0.63 per share.
Shares in the company nevertheless closed 3.4% lower at $39.57. The company has traded between $39.43 and $78.44 over the past 52 weeks.
And Limelight Networks ( LLNW ), a computing platform operator, reported a Q4 non-GAAP net loss of $400,000, or zero per share, from a loss of $2.1 million or $0.02 a share a year earlier. The average of Capital IQ's estimates was for another $0.02 loss.
Shares in the company closed 10% lower at $0.90. The company has traded between $0.90 and $4.43 over the past 52 weeks.
