Technology stocks fell hard on Monday, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 sliding to a 1.0% decline.

In company news, Energous Corp ( WATT ) was higher late Monday after the wireless recharging technology company and Dialog Semiconductor plc today announced the availability of the DA4100 RF-transmit integrated circuit.

The new DA4100 WattUp IC is the first chip product produced through the companies' strategic partnership, which saw Dialog becoming the exclusive component supplier of WattUp intregrated circuits in addition to allowing Energous to tap into Dialog's sales and distribution channels.

WATT shares were about 6.5% at $14.51 each this afternoon, staying within relatively close range of their session high of $14.73 a share.
