Street Color: Rumors Suggest Berkshire Considering Acquisition of Kellogg, According to Reports

Rumors are floating around that Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) may be considering a takeover of Kellogg ( K ) after the company's jet was spotted in Battle Creek, Michigan, recently, according to Street Insider. Warren Buffett's company could go it alone or team with 3G on the acquisition, but the latter's reputation as a corporate raider may make Kellogg hesitant, the news company said. At Berkshire's annual meeting in Omaha over the weekend, Buffett said 3G was good at making businesses more productive with fewer people, Street Insider said.
