Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF ( SPY ), which added 26,050,000 units, or a 2.9% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple ( AAPL ) is off about 0.3%, and Microsoft ( MSFT ) is up by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the PowerShares DWA Utilities Momentum Portfolio ( PUI ), which added 1,850,000 units, for a 38.5% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of PUI, in morning trading today Duke Energy ( DUK ) is off about 0.2%, and NiSource (NI) is higher by about 0.6%.
