Aug 13 (Reuters) - Spanish national consumer prices rose 0.5% year-on-year in July according to data from the National Statistics Institute on Tuesday, compared to 0.4% in June and in line with Reuters poll forecast.
Spanish European Union-harmonised prices rose 0.6% from a year earlier, in line with 0.6% in June and below the Reuters forecast of 0.7%. Core inflation, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, was 0.9% year on year, flat compared to a month earlier.
