In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Mylan ( MYL ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 6.9%. Year to date, Mylan has lost about 2.7% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Royal Caribbean Cruises ( RCL ), trading down 3.8%. Royal Caribbean Cruises is lower by about 14.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings ( NCLH ), trading down 3.5%, and SCANA Corp ( SCG ), trading up 4.2% on the day.
