In early trading on Monday, shares of Akamai Technologies Inc ( AKAM ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 14.9%. Year to date, Akamai Technologies Inc has lost about 0.5% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is McKesson Corp ( MCK ), trading down 3.1%. McKesson Corp is showing a gain of 12.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Envision Healthcare Corp ( EVHC ), trading down 2.2%, and KLA-Tencor Corp. ( KLAC ), trading up 5.5% on the day.
