In early trading on Monday, shares of Broadcom ( BRCM ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 8.3%. Year to date, Broadcom registers a 16.4% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Express Scripts Holding ( ESRX ), trading down 3.3%. Express Scripts Holding is lower by about 1.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Harman International Industries ( HAR ), trading down 2.7%, and MeadWestvaco ( MWV ), trading up 3.9% on the day.
