In early trading on Tuesday, shares of CF Industries Holdings ( CF ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.0%. Year to date, CF Industries Holdings registers a 30.2% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Edison International ( EIX ), trading down 7.3%. Edison International is lower by about 6.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Iron Mountain ( IRM ), trading down 6.7%, and Boeing ( BA ), trading up 3.0% on the day.
