In early trading on Wednesday, shares of H&R Block ( HRB ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.8%. Year to date, H&R Block registers a 10.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Dollar Tree ( DLTR ), trading down 14.8%. Dollar Tree is lower by about 17.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Ross Stores ( ROST ), trading down 7.7%, and Autodesk ( ADSK ), trading up 11.1% on the day.
