Southwest Airlines Co, Lyft Team Up on Rewards

Southwest Airlines Co ( LUV ) has announced that it's teaming up with Lyft for special offers.

Southwest Airlines is now offering 1,100 Rapid Rewards points to members that take their first ride with Lyft. A separate offer allows passengers with the airline that aren't reward members to get $15 off their first ride with Lyft.

The two offers can't be combined and Southwest Airlines said that the they will be available to passengers until the end of the year. The offer is limited to passengers catching a ride through Lyft in the following markets:

  • Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
  • Chicago Midway International Airport
  • Dallas Love Field
  • Los Angeles International Airport
  • Louisville International Airport
  • McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas)
  • Nashville International Airport
  • Oakland International Airport
  • Reagan National Airport (Washington, D.C.)
  • San Antonio International Airport
  • San Diego International Airport

The Lyft app can be downloaded for devices running Alphabet Inc's ( GOOG , GOOGL ) Google Android and Apple Inc.'s ( AAPL ) iOS.
