SoftBank Reportedly In Talks With Japan Banks For $2.8 Bln Loan

(RTTNews) - SoftBank Group Corp. is in talks to receive as much as 300 billion yen or $2.76 billion in financing from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc., Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. and Mizuho Financial Group Inc., Nikkei Asian Review reported citing people familiar with the matter.

The loans are part of the company's regular financing. SoftBank is raising money to pay for its $3 billion tender offer to WeWork shareholders, the report said.
