SLAM Exploration Up Nearly 7% After Visible Gold Found at Saint-Quentin Discovery

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL.V) is up 0.5 cents to 8 cents a share in a series of larger volume purchases since trading resumed last hour and the company reporting it had uncovered several quartz veins with visible gold within bedrock during trenching operations at its Saint-Quentin gold discovery in northwest New Brunswick.

According to the company, the gold-bearing veins are exposed over 250 meters of strike length. It is continuing the trenching operations to test for additional veins, including boulders found by Slam's prospecting team. Assays are pending on samples of quartz veins and wallrock.
