The dynamism in China's internet sector continues to attract attention from global investors. And with good reason -- there is always something going on in the sector.
Just look at some of the highlights from the past week for Sina ADR ( SINA , quote ) and Tencent ADR ( TCEHY , quote ). Sina entered the online travel sector by launching a social travel community, Self-Travel, and a social reading platform, Sina Vision. Tencent officially launched its Tian Yu W808W iQQ smartphone, at a price of 82,980 yuan, announced the upcoming schedule for release of its online games. Separately, global active users of Tencent's League of Legends online game reached 11.5 million. This is more than World of Warcraft's 11 million users. From a big picture view, the most interesting bit of news was the fact that Sina Weibo made it to China Daily's front page in a report titled "Micro Blogs Open a World of Communication".
