Sibanye-Stillwater shareholders approve Lonmin deal

JOHANNESBURG, May 28 (Reuters) - A large majority of Sibanye-Stillwater's SGLJ.J shareholders on Tuesday approved a takeover bid for Lonmin LML.L that aims to create the world's second-largest platinum producer.

In a statement, Sibanye said 87 percent of shareholders backed the deal.
