Sector Update: Info Tech; D-Box Reports Results, Counterpath Launches New Product

In corporate news, D-Box Technologies reported Q1 2015 net loss of 1.2 million or $(0.0074) per share, compared to a net loss of $519,000 or ($0.0032) per share. Quarterly revenues were up 30% to $4.56 million, including $1.14 million of recurring revenue from utilization rights, rental and maintenance and $1.87 million in system sales for the entertainment market. D-BOX, which focuses on the entertainment market and the industrial market , anticipates that the upward trend in revenues should be maintained.

On the other hand, Counterpath has launched the Bria Screen Share and Outlook add-ins for the Bria 4.1 Windows desktop client. The new screen share add-in enables one-click screen sharing, while the new Outlook add-in enables users to initiate calls, send messages, access voicemail and monitor presence from directly within an Outlook window.
