Healthcare shares are fairly flat in pre-market trade. Chemtura ( CHMT ) has implemented a price increase for Diphenylamine, a chemical widely used as an antioxidant for lubricants, propellants, and explosives, in all packages of $0.10 per kilo effective Sept. 15 or as contracts allow.

The price increase is to compensate for continuous increases in raw material and manufacturing costs.

And, finally, Cellular BioMedicine Group ( CBMG ) said interim results from its Phase 1/11a trial into human adipose-derived mesenchymal precursor cell therapy for knee osteoarthritis showed a significant improvement in the condition.

The trial tested the safety and efficacy of intra-articular injections of the patient's own cells in order to reduce inflammation and repair damaged joint cartilage. The shares are trading in a 52-week range of $2.00 - $8.50.
