In healthcare stocks news, Ensign Group ( ENSG ) Tuesday said it has acquired skilled nursing facilities located in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Washington.
The provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitative care services acquired the 82-bed Englewood Post-Acute and Rehabilitation in Englewood, Colorado, the 117-bed Rainier Rehabilitation in Puyallup, Washington, and the 95-bed Pine Manor Healthcare Center and the 60-bed Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville, Wisconsin.
And, Prosensa Holding N.V ( RNA ) said it will file a New Drug Application under an accelerated approval pathway based on existing data for its drisapersen product, the company's lead program to treat Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The Dutch company also plans to file for approval in Europe
The company plans to submit a file later this year and will commit to the initiation of two confirmatory post-approval studies.
