Financial shares were generally mixed in pre-market trade Friday ahead of a nonfarm payrolls data.
In financial stocks news, EMC Insurance Group ( EMCI ) Friday reported Q3 net operating income per share of $0.16, off 64% YOY, and below a Street consensus of $0.54 compiled by Capital IQ.
EMCI, a property and casualty insurer, and reinsurer, reported net operating income of $2.5 million, off 62.1% YOY. EMCI revised guidance for full-year 2014 to $1.55 to $1.80 net operating income per share, down from prior $2.25 to $2.50 a share.
EMCI trades in a 52-week range of $26.23 to $36.50.
And, Lexington Realty Trust ( LXP ) reported Q3 FFO of $68.7 million, or $0.28 per diluted common share, up from $0.25 per share in Q3 2013.
Total gross revenues were $109.5 million, compared with total gross revenues of $93.1 million for Q3 2013, an increase primarily due to property acquisitions. LXP trades in a 52-week range of $9.74 to $11.81.
