In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.83% at $37.19. The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was up 0.71% at $22.69.

In other energy news, New Jersey Resources ( NJR ) raised its guidance range for fiscal 2014 basic earnings by 10 cents due to better-than-anticipated results at NJR Energy Services, its wholesale provider of physical natural gas services and customized energy solutions, and on strong results at its regulated utility New Jersey Natural Gas.

The natural gas and clean energy provider said it now expects to report FY14 net financial earnings between $4.00 and $4.20 per basic share, up from the previously announced $3.90 to $4.10 and compared to the $4.12 average estimate from analysts polled by Capital IQ.
