Energy shares are down in late-session trading while crude oil futures slip to trade below $95 barrel. Light, sweet crude oil for January delivery traded down $0.66 to $94.31 a barrel. In energy news, shares of Halliburton Co. ( HAL ) are higher. CNBC reported that HAL spent $70,000 in the third quarter to lobby the federal government on hydraulic fracturing techniques and other issues. Meanwhile, ZBB Energy (ZBB) shares are up 6% after it announced Thursday that it has signed a joint development and license agreement and a stock purchase agreement with a global technology company to jointly develop flow batteries.
