Energy shares are higher while crude oil futures fall below $80 a barrel, adding to prior-session losses. Light, sweet crude oil for November delivery traded down 0.72% to $79.94 a barrel. In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) is down 0.39% to $31.03. The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) is up 0.32% to $9.31. In mid-day news, Brigham Exploration ( BEXP ) says the Irgens 27-34 #2H Three Forks well produced 2,906 barrels of oil equivalent during its early 24-hour peak flow back period, which represents a company record early production rate for a Three Forks well.
