Russia's Magnit launches express delivery service with Wildberries

Russian retailer Magnit on Monday said it had launched an express delivery service with e-commerce market leader Wildberries, the company's latest push into enhancing its online offering.

MOSCOW, July 26 (Reuters) - Russian retailer Magnit MGNT.MM on Monday said it had launched an express delivery service with e-commerce market leader Wildberries, the company's latest push into enhancing its online offering.

Magnit, which last week finalised a 87.6 billion rouble ($1.2 billion) acquisition of rival Dixy, said in February it would create an e-grocery platform as part of a new consumer-centric strategy aimed at improving profitability between 2021 and 2025.
