Russian spies infiltrated top US political databases, stole research - Washington Post

Russian hackers stole databases and completely compromised systems

The Washington Post is reporting that Russian spies gained total access to top Republican and Democratic computer systems and databases.

The largest breach was the computer network of the Democratic National Committee where they were able to read all e-mail and chat traffic.

The Washington Post cites "committee officials and security experts" who also say the networks of presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were also targeted, as were the computers of some GOP political action committees.
