Russia Clarifies Trump Connection
One of the new elements of the current public outcry and the probe in the White House's connection to Russia is an email that a senior member of Trump's company sent to the Kremlin asking for help with a business deal in early 2016. The administration has been tight-lipped about the contact, but Moscow went on the record saying that it did receive the email but never responded, as it was sent to a general email address where business inquiries are ignored.
FINSUM : If you look into how this email was handled it ironically seems to point out that Trump had no Russian connections, as the email was sent to a general inquiries address and not to any specific individual. Hardly a smoking gun.
