This is sad and bad business. Russian President Vladimir Putin says he will sign a law banning U.S. adoption of Russian children .
I have spent 15 years taking planes back and forth from Russia and the U.S. watching hundreds of excited new U.S. parents with their newly adopted Russian babies going back to America to begin a new life for them and these children.
Putin is using politics to make a point surrounding the U.S. Magnitzky Law banning Russians from the U.S. who are thought to have human rights violations in their history. Unfortunately the politics are hurting a lot of innocent, needy children and parents in waiting.
